Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a guide from Verity E-books (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. What we sell

We sell digital guides in PDF format. Nothing is shipped. Each guide’s page describes what it contains.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on each guide’s page. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.

3. Delivery

After payment you’ll receive a download link for your PDF, shown on the confirmation page and sent to the email address you provide at checkout. Please make sure that address is correct.

4. Your licence

When you buy a guide you get a personal, non-transferable licence to read it and keep a copy for your own use. Each copy is personalised with your name, order number and date. You may not copy, share, resell, upload or publish the guide or any substantial part of it. We may withdraw access to a copy that has been shared.

6. Educational content only

Our guides are educational. They are not personal financial, investment, tax, legal or medical advice, and they are not a substitute for a professional who knows your circumstances. Investing involves risk, including loss of the money invested. If you have a medical condition, talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise program or making significant dietary changes. We make no promise of any particular result.

7. Sources and accuracy

We take care to cite real sources and to describe them accurately, but research and rules change. Where the guides describe rules (for example tax or account rules), they do so in general terms for the countries named and may be out of date or not apply to you.

8. Intellectual property

The guides, logo and site are owned by Verity E-books. Works cited in the guides belong to their respective owners.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with a guide is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
